Thanks for working with SAMO media! Please take a moment to review the below guidelines for art submission. All art is reviewed internally by SAMO, and every effort to correct your art will be made. Repeat submissions may be subject to additional art review fees.
Templates
Please be sure to use only SAMO media templates found at www.samomedia.com. Please be sure to carefully note the instructions on each template regarding Safety, Cut, and Bleed. Keep all text well inside safety, and extend all background colour to Bleed. Keep art set to – but separable from – template.
Our templates were designed with the Adobe Creative Suite and are workable with all Adobe (and most other) image editing programs.
Colour
SAMO prints using several different techniques, depending on the format and project. Please contact your Rep for specific details. Keep art as CMYK, but spot colour values where necessary (from the Pantone Coated Palette). RGB colour profiles are to be avoided, and black-and-white (1+0) work can be submitted as Grayscale. Be sure to design according to the specifications of your order.
Fonts
We ask that all fonts be outlined or rasterized. We recommend vector based fonts as are native in Adobe Illustrator. We ask that all linked images be embedded. If in doubt, please include font files used and images linked. We recommend scanning fine art or original images at higher than 900 dpi, with a final print resolution of no less than 300 dpi.
Formats
We accept PDFs and any Native format (.AI, .PSD, .EPS), but would prefer not to receive INDD files. If using INDESIGN, please send PDF exports with images linked and fonts outlined. Clients will have an opportunity to review and approve digital proofs before printing. Hardcopy proofs are often available at a small fee, please ask your Rep.

Checklist!
- SAMO Templates used

- Art and Template are on separate layers. Layers are clearly named.
