Compact Disc Replication:
Your art on disc! We are committed to manufacturing your CDs quickly to meet your timelines while ensuring they look as great as they sound.
We often beat the industry standard 7-10 business day schedule and will work with you to ensure all release, promotional, and marketing schedules are honoured.
In addition to the popular and standard silkscreened CDs, we can create CD business cards, ROMs, and executable programs.
All our Compact Discs are manufactured according to ISO standards in a timely manner.
Our CD manufacturing is done according to international red book industrial standards. The standard playing time of a CD is 74 mins, 44 secs or 650 mb. We can easily accommodate longer audio projects, or enhanced discs. Just ask one of our representatives!
Low Run CDs:
For advance needs, emergency runs, and extremely time sensitive orders, we can accommodate CD projects at quantities of less than 500. These high resolution CDRs are manufactured according to the same standards and with the same attention as our glass mastered projects. These CDRs are also silk screened in the same manner as our larger runs, making them largely indistinguishable.
Turnaround times for these projects are extremely quick, but because of increased per unit cost are not recommended for projects requiring more than 250 CDs.
DVD Replication:
Our DVDs are manufactured according to the same red book and ISO standards as our CDs. They are screen printed like our CDs and are internationally viable. The cost of DVD production has come down significantly in the last few years and we now routinely create CD/DVD packages for bands, filmmakers, and corporations alike.
7”, 10” and 12” Vinyl Duplication:
Wake up and join the Vinyl Renaissance! SAMO media is proud to be the ONLY firm in Canada offering 7”, 10”, and 12” records in black, clear, and coloured vinyl. We are your one and only stop, offering transfer engineering, lacquering, electroplating, and manufacturing. Bring us your CD and within 4-6 weeks you’ll received your completed vinyl!
Our vinyl is some of the best in the continent and we are extremely proud of it. Our transfer engineers are world renowned, and we ensure all parties involved have test presses to approve before manufacturing begins.

USB Media:

For those interested in more standard fare, we offer Digital Printing and Commercial Fed Sheet Printing, which are both industry standard methods for high quality mass printing.

Unique Cardboard Packaging:
Custom made, hand assembled, and printed here in Toronto, these alternative packaging options rival the Digipak in popularity at SAMO. Because they are made by a local artist instead of at a factory, you get superior attention to detail and many interesting custom options, like unique folding patterns and die cuts at an inexpensive price. A great, tactile package that you need to see and feel to appreciate; give your listeners an alternative to the jewelcase and Digipak. This is a new product offered as part of our “Give Them Something They Can’t Download” initiative. One example of this is the new Custom Gatefold Jacket which can be found in the template section. We can also now do high quality book binding.
SAMO Screen Printing:
SAMO media is proud to present this highly artistic and original packaging option, also part of our “Give Them Something They Can’t Download” program. These jackets, for 7”, 10” or 12” vinyl, are hand screened exclusively for SAMO media. High resolution, tight, and clean screen printing can also be applied to your CD packaging option, as well as handbills, flyers, or promotional items. |
